I had this conversation with my dad the other day....what kind of liability comes with building winches. More specifically, if you sell one for profit, how sueable are you? I would assume it is the same waiver as a cable park or the like, but I would like to see too. I may make a few winches for my buddies but I still wanna cover my ass.
Most people understand winching is inherently 'dangerous', but that doesn't stop some kids mother from trying to sue me if he busts his head using a winch I fab'd.
